Word Sprint — Privacy Policy

Word Sprint (“the app”) is a word game. We designed it to respect your privacy.

What we collect

Nothing. Word Sprint does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information. There are no accounts, no logins, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party trackers.

Data stored on your device

Your game progress, statistics (best and average times), and settings are saved only on your device. This information never leaves your phone and is not accessible to us or anyone else. Uninstalling the app deletes it.

Network use

The app works fully offline. It makes an internet request in only two cases, and neither sends any personal information:

1. When you choose the “Today’s Spelling Bee” import feature, the app fetches that day’s puzzle letters from a public puzzle-answers website.
2. When you tap a found word to look up its meaning, the app opens dictionary.com for that word in your device’s browser.

If you use neither feature, the app makes no network requests.

Purchases

Word Sprint offers a one-time in-app purchase to unlock the full game after a free trial. Purchases are processed by Google Play / the Apple App Store. We do not receive or store your payment details; those are handled entirely by the store under its own privacy policy.

Children’s privacy

Because we collect no data of any kind, the app does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new “last updated” date.
